Hozelock Superhoze Expanding Hose Set
The dynamic design of Hozelock's Superhoze enables it to expand up to three times its original length for easy reach and then shrink back in size after use for convenient storage. It is made up from a highly elastic inner core and a soft, yet robust outer, meaning that there are no hard materials to fold or bend which can create kinks or tangles in some traditional garden hoses. As Superhoze is filled with water and expands, the two independent layers glide smoothly over each other, ensuring a continuous water-flow. While it is not in use, the hose is very lightweight and malleable, making it easy to carry to another part of the garden or store away on a hose hanger or in a box. Excellent extension hose to my existing one. So far no problems. Very good customer service
I've had a superhoze before and it lasted 2 years before the inner tube split, however, it was left outside all the time, so my own fault really. There may have been something about leaving it outside on the box but I didn't see it, but I guess the inner hose has to be lightweight and therefore susceptible to perishing. I bought another because it is more manageable than a traditional hose. I will be keeping this one in its box in the garage this winter, so hopefully, it will last longer.
So far so good however, my experience with cheaper versions of this hose is that when it works it's great but the proof of the pudding is how long it lasts
I bought this to extend the one I already have as I know it is good. Have only used it once as it has rained ever since I received it!
