Handy THISWB Impact Garden Shredder
The Handy Electric Impact Shredder is a great solution for breaking down twigs and branches from garden pruning jobs. It is easy to operate and equipped with a powerful 2500w motor. The cutters break the wood using a mechanism which will deal with clippings and pruning’s up to 45mm in diameter. The large collector at the bottom of the machine collects the clippings which can be used for mulch, paths or compost and it can be easily removed when full. The wheels allow the machine to be easily transported to different sites for shredding (though you will need a suitable extension lead depending on how far you want to take the machine down the garden). easy to put together seems quite well made noisey when running but not used properly yet
Took an age to arrive from Tooled-up.com but for the money it’s a very good shredder. It can only shred fairly small stuff and struggles if the item is near the 45mm limit and is not dead straight. The collection box is very handy and the motor is a lot quieter than I expected. Overall a good purchase and has saved money on buying mulch.
The receiver for the branches is small and the material does not feed it has to be pushed virtually all the way at only one branch at a time. It is quicker to dispose of the material manually.
