Easy and cordless lawn trimming: The ComfortCut 23 P4A 18v cordless grass trimmer makes it possible to get your lawn in shape. Even in spots that are usually hard to reach! The ComfortCut 23 is very lightweight, meaning it can be used for longer periods with minimal fatigue, and has a tilting head which enables you to access areas underneath obstructions like overhanging foliage or garden furniture. The head can also be rotated and locked into position to enable the grass trimmer to be used for edging. Part of Gardena's new Power For All cordless range, the EasyCut 23 P4A is compatible with all batteries from the Power For All 18v Alliance, a cross-brand battery platform which enables you to share the same battery and charger between a variety of products for the home and garden. While using the trimmer, the charging status is always visible on the LED battery status indicator in the handle of the tool.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Really liked it. It's light, easy to handle, ready to use in 5'. The shaft is telescopic and the handle can be adjusted, so I could easily adapt it to my height. It's fairly powerful, used on long & wet grass too. The 18V POWER FOR ALLIANCE battery is great, I love this concept, I'm using Bosch batteries and it's good that I can keep the number of batteries and charger as low as possible.
BEWARE! Although this trimmer uses 18V batteries the batteries you may already have for earlier Gardena products will not fit. This means you must buy new batteries and chargers and not simply the tool which like me you probably expected to share with those you had already bought on the assumption that Gardena would reward your loyalty.
