If you want sculpted, professional looking shrubs, hedges, & lawn borders, you're going to need a tool that can be operated with precision. Lightweight, manoeuvrable & powerful, the Bosch ASB 10.8 LI is built to deliver accurate & clean cutting performance with every use. A 20cm, precision ground blade provides a smooth shearing motion thanks to Bosch's Anti-Blocking System, designed to rapidly oscillate in the event of a blockage, slicing through stubborn stems to prevent stalling. In order to achieve attractive results (& enjoy doing so), you need to be able to take your time; the ASB 10.8 LI's highly impressive 100 minute run time will prove more than sufficient for even the most demanding shaping applications. Handling is optimised by the shears' ergonomic, vibration absorbing softgrip handles, & a low overall weight of 900g. The ASB 10.8 LI is powered by an integrated Lithium Ion Battery, chargeable in only 3.5 hours. Lithium Ion Batteries are light, suffer from very little loss of charge during long term storage, & are not hampered by memory effect. Included with the tool are two additional blades: a shorter 120mm shrub shear blade, for even greater shaping accuracy, & a grass shearing blade, ideal for precise edging along lawn borders. Very pleased with the experience of buying this from Tooled-Up, excellent company plus superfast delivery through DHL. The hedge and shrub shears are as I had hoped, lightweight and manoeuvrable for trimming jobs. I expected the grass shears to be fairly useless but quite the opposite. I have used them to trim grass growing over the edge of slabs as well as long vegetation round a pond and elsewhere. You soon find out what the various heads are happy tackling, obviously not thicker shoots. I plug it into the charger anytime I stop e.g. for lunch. So far it has stood up to a bit of determined use, build wise. Very good.

Only used once but trimmed several bushes were - still had power left after 40 mins

Superb multi-blade tool, which is great for trimming box and other garden shrubs. The battery has a long life and it is certainly making life a lot easier, instead of using manual secateurs. It copes well with general light trimming but would struggle with thicker woody stems. Would highly recommend. Excellent service from tooled-up. the free lubricant, which accompanied this purchase, is also very useful for keeping the blades rust-free.
Not overly impressed; I thought it would be easier for cutting small shrubs etc, however considering the price i'm still using my hand held shears, would not recommend. Useless for topiary, does not give a precise enough finish and still use my topiary shears. Tooled-up were excellent though, easy to order, fast delivery.
