Dissapointed i always buy bosch tools because over the years i have found then to be good although more expensive ive never really had any major problems,and ive a workshop full of bosch stuff. However since i started enquiring about the lopper on the internet i was bombarded by various companies offering me similar tools and bundles for a remarkably less money especially amazon bombarded me with deals-but i choose bosch because it was pushing out 1000 watts,and i was working on top of a 20 foot scaffolding tower toppng off a conifer hedge. i used to be a demonstator for a well known chain saw company and have travelled many parts of the world on their behalf so i think i know what iam doing. initially whilst the tool was new it sliced through the timber tops of the conifers,but after a short time there was a build up of sawdust inside the casing which clogged up due to the supply of oil,this kept on causing the chain to come off ,therefore i was constantly having to stop and clean the sawdust before progressing to cut more tops.The actual tightening system of the chain i was not impressed with,far to fiddley especially when you are working in the cold--no i really was not imprressed with this idea. the life of the blade itself before having to re sharpen was pathetic,and the blade soon tells you when its getting blunt!!!! so to save time i have purchased another blade. would i buy this tool again ?? having used this tool,and it wasnt for a mamoth job i wasnt impressed,and certainly would not buy it again---------a colleague of mine has bought a similar item from a supermarket 900 watts,an d half the price of bosch,and i must say of the two tools the supermarket one gets ten out of ten the problem when buying tools off the net is if you havent had a test run before you buy life can be very dissappointing. i used this tool for a couple of days,and in those two days it used more oil than my mercedes vito does in five months

This was a simple purchase as it was clearly identified as a Bosch product, designed to fit my Bosch chainsaw. The price was better than most of the competition, and delivery was quick. Putting it on the saw was relatively easy, although the instructions were a bit lacking in detail for someone who has never done this before.
