The Greenworks G24PH51K2 hedge trimmer provides the gardener with an extended reach which is ideal for trimming at height or in awkward locations such as behind obstacles. The head can be fixed in one of 7 positions, enabling comfortable operation from multiple angles of approach and providing an easy way to trim the tops of high hedges. Cushion overmoulded grips help keep the tool comfortable in the hand over extended periods, while the laser cut dual reciprocating blades ensure effective performance and clean cuts.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

The Greenworks 24v Li-ion System is a range of 24v tools where all 24v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time. In some cases there may be tools that take 2 x 24v batteries to power a 48v motor - These are still part of the 24v battery system but with the added benefit of a more powerful motor.
