In addition, the 35-bar burst pressure means that the Liano can handle any domestic water pressure. When under pressure, the inner hose expands slightly to a diameter of 13 mm (1/2") to ensure high water flow. This starter set is supplied complete with a hose pipe, spray nozzle and tap connectors, making it suitable for direct connection to most standard outdoor taps. Features and Benefits
During the summer months, the garden hose is in constant use and therefore must be able to withstand demanding workloads, but it also needs to be convenient and easy to use. The new Gardena Liano Textile Hose meets all these criteria — but that's not all it can do.
The Liano consists of an inner hose covered in a highly durable textile fabric. This makes it easy to move the hose over the garden and around corners without kinking or twisting. Even if you drag it over the terrace or it brushes up against a prickly rose bush, it won't damage the hose. It is significantly lighter than a conventional PVC hose, making it especially convenient to store — including on hose trolleys or reels. The hose is UV-resistant and frost-proof, and therefore extremely durable.

Replaced a rival manufacturer’s reel and hose which gave no end of trouble. This is simple, high quality and effective
I had one of the yellow lightweight hoses which burst after about one season's use. My daughters had had 3 cheaper lightweight hoses between them which had all failed within 2 years. I felt it worthwhile to spend more on a durable hose. It looks and feels well built. Unlike the others makes I have seen this does not expand much under pressure so you know it is more convenient to lay out before you turn the tap on. The 20 m length is good. The length and substantial build do mean that, compared to the competition, it is fairly heavy especially if full of water. The watering nozzle is well made and gives a very even spray. If it lasts it will be good value for money.
The light weight construction makes it easy to use and store. When you are finished just coil it up like a rope until next time.
