Fiskars QuikDrill Earth Post Hole Drill Auger

The Fiskars QuikDrill M is a medium sized earth drill and as such it is ideal for planting, aerating, mixing compost and installing medium sized fence posts. When you are drilling soil it leaves a smooth edged hole without getting stuck on small stones or roots. The tool's handle is made from FiberComp: a fibreglass reinforced polyamide which makes it extremely strong, durable and weatherproof, while the steel shaft is designed for maximum strength when boring a hole. The QuikDrill has a dual cutting action with two optimally angled, shapened blades; a selection of different sized blades are also available separately which can be easily installed onto the QuikDrill by the user.

If you have to dig a great many holes as I have to when planting seedlings from pots, this tool is absolutely indispensable and fast. The 150mm standard hole suits most pots and posts and the best thing about it is that it breaks up the dirt and any roots in the ground get cut as the blades rotate. Absolutely excellent product.
