Lightweight cordless grass trimmers from the Bosch Garden & DIY range offer unlimited freedom of movement without having to untangle power leads or deal with the inconveniences and hazards of petrol. What's more, as PowerForAll machines they share battery compatibility with a huge range of additional cordless tools for the home and garden, including everything from drills to handheld vacuum cleaners. The EASYGRASSCUT series is particularly suited to smaller gardens. Compact, well balanced and lightweight, these tools have a semi-automatic line feed system which feeds line at the press of a button for frustration-free trimming with minimal interruptions. The EASYGRASSCUT 18-230 has a rotatable shaft which can also be converted to edging mode at the press of a button for neat trimming of borders. An 18v machine, it uses Bosch 18v PowerForAll lithium ion batteries and features a Syneon chip for intelligent energy management, helping to ensure maximum runtime before you need to recharge or swap out the battery. The Syneon chip constantly monitors load conditions on the tool and only delivers maximum power when it is needed, conserving energy during lighter duty trimming or boosting it when it is needed to power through thicker growth. Unlike many cordless tools in the past, the EASYGRASSCUT 18-230 will also function right up until the point the battery dies, rather than gradually slowing down or stopping and starting. Easy to use website, good pricing and prompt delivery
After having a problem with the delivery of my first choice of strimmer (out of stock) the company got in touch and an alternative was found and delivered within 2 days. I could not fault the service and would recommend tooled up to anyone interested.
Does everything it says it does..... easy assembly and easy to use, edge trimmer feature works well. very pleased
I wanted a fairly cheap strimmer for my grass and this product does just the job.
Very good price and swift delivery by Tooled-Up. Excellent Bosch trimmer - very much better than their version with plastic blade.
Overall it does a job. My issues were no clear assembly instructions, limited battery power (c20 mins on heavy work) and weight. It needs a strap! OK generally.
